Here's some important info for racers and crew members!\n\n\n\nRacer/Crew member Guidelines June 2020 Before You Come To the Track o If you've been exposed to COVID-19\, stay home and follow self-quarantine rules o Please stay home if you have a fever or do not feel well\, or have any of the CDC Covid-19 symptoms. As of now\, those symptoms are fever or chills\; cough\, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing\, fatigue\, muscle or body aches\, headache\, new loss of taste or smell\, sore throat\, congestion or sunny nose\, nausea or vomiting\, diarrhea. Be aware of the CDC risk groups for COVID-19 as well as your state's orders. The CDC now says older adults and people who have severe underlying medical conditions like heart or lung disease or diabetes seem to be at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19 illness. At the Track o PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! Stick to the 6 ft social distancing requirement whenever possible. o You are required to wear a face covering at all times when conversing with anyone else -- track staff\, fellow racers and crew members\, and any time you can't keep at least 6 feet of distance from another person. o Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds\, especially after going to the bathroom\; before eating\; and after blowing your nose\, coughing\, or sneezing. o Avoid touching your eyes\, nose\, and mouth with unwashed hands. o Clean frequently touched surfaces and objects regularly. o Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue\, then throw the tissue in the trash. o If you identify an area that needs be addressed from a cleaning or sanitizing perspective\, please notify track personnel to address it. Some Additional Steps We are Taking o The tower/race control area is restricted to employees only. If you need to reach a race official\, please visit the Division 2 Registration Trailer or call 352-374-9922 or 626-250-2249. o Hand sanitizer is be available at hand sanitizing stations located at the Tower\, Public Restrooms\, Concession Stands and Tech Area. o Please respect track personnel instructions on parking -- we will do our best to park racers further apart in the pit area to encourage social distancing. o Bathrooms will be cleaned and sanitized prior to events and during events. Directions & Guidelines o When you arrive at the track please come to the racer gate for check-in.
