DESCRIPTION:Banks county Schools will host the fifth annual Special Olympic local spring games on April 3.  Special Olympics offers students with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to experience the joy of competition as well as the opportunity to develop lasting relationships with peers and families.  Over 70 Banks County Special Olympic athletes will be competing in track and field events as well as other activities throughout the day.  Many of our athletes\, along with their peer partners\, are already training for the big day.
